2 Injured In Hit-And-Run In San Diego, DUI Suspect Arrested
Alcohol was suspected to be a factor in the accident, police said.

SAN DIEGO, CA — A 28-year-old man suspected of driving under the influence was arrested Sunday after an alleged hit-and-run collision injured two pedestrians in San Diego.
The accident occurred around 2 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Bayard Street and Grand Avenue in the Pacific Beach neighborhood, according to the San Diego Police Department.
"Two people were legally crossing at the intersection when the driver ran a red light and hit them in the crosswalk. The driver was later taken into custody, but the exact location was unclear," the department told City News Service.

The victims, a 30-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man, were taken to a hospital to be treated for multiple fractures.
The identities of the driver and victims have not been released. Alcohol was suspected to be a factor in the accident, police said.
