4 Injured In Pellet Gun 'Hate Crime' Attacks In San Diego

The suspects were described as white males and were seen driving in a light-colored minivan, police said.

SAN DIEGO, CA — Police sought information Sunday about a series of pellet gun shootings in the Hillcrest neighborhood of San Diego.

There have been four documented attacks, with the most recent around 2 a.m. Sunday in the area of 10th and University avenues, according to the San Diego Police Department. Police were investigating the attacks as hate crimes.

"The San Diego Police Department is seeking information on a series of attacks by subjects driving around and shooting gel-type pellets," Lt. Daniel Meyer said.

There were at least four victims, but they were not seriously injured, Meyer said.
