​6 Displaced After Mira Mesa House Fire

The American Red Cross was called to help the residents of the damaged two-story home —​ all adults —​ arrange for interim shelter.

SAN DIEGO, CA — A Mira Mesa house fire left six people displaced Tuesday.

The non-injury blaze erupted shortly before 3 p.m. in the 8000 block of Peach Point Avenue, just east of Camino Ruiz and north of New Salem Street, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.

It took crews about 10 minutes to extinguish the flames, authorities said.
