CHULA VISTA, CA — A California Lottery Scratchers ticket worth millions of dollars was sold at a liquor store in San Diego County.
A woman named Tara Alisso bought a 2025 Scratchers ticket from Best Bev Liquor at 640 E St. in Chula Vista, the California Lottery announced. The ticket was worth $7.5 million.
Alisso did not disclose when she purchased the ticket or played the game, California Lottery spokesperson Yvonne Vazquez told Patch.

"Unlike our draw games, we don't know a Scratchers game's sale date for individual tickets, we only know where it came from when it is scanned or claimed as a winner," Vazquez said.
The winning ticket would have been on sale between Oct. 21, 2024, and the game's end date of June 17, 2025, Vazquez noted.
