Apparent Carbon-Monoxide Poisoning In Campo Sends 6 To Hospital
Paramedics took the victims to Sharp Grossmont Hospital in La Mesa.

CAMPO, CA — Six people, including four children, were rushed to a hospital Wednesday following a report of carbon-monoxide poisoning at a home in the rural southeastern reaches of San Diego County.
The medical emergency in the 1700 block of N. Campo Truck Trail in Campo was reported shortly after 11 a.m. Wednesday, according to Cal Fire.
Paramedics took the victims to Sharp Grossmont Hospital in La Mesa, said Mike Cornette, a fire captain with the state agency. Their conditions were not immediately available.

The source of the apparent gas leak remained unclear in the mid-afternoon, Cornette said.
