Bandit Robbing Migrants Is Killed By Border Patrol In CA: Report
Surveillance recently captured images of armed bandits robbing migrant groups, Border Patrol Chief Jason Owens said.
Federal agents in California fatally shot a bandit who was robbing migrants crossing the U.S.-Mexico border, Fox News reported.
The bandit, a criminal migrant who was with a small group, was shot by a Border Patrol Tactical Unit member early Sunday morning in a remote area of the San Diego sector, multiple sources affiliated with U.S. Customs and Border Protection confirmed to Fox News, which reported the other bandits returned to Mexico.
In late February, Border Patrol Chief Jason Owens posted on X that surveillance near Chula Vista had captured images of armed bandits robbing migrant groups as they tried to enter the country.
