Bicyclist, 74, Gravely Hurt in Crash In San Diego
Paramedics took him to a hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
SAN DIEGO, CA — A 74-year-old bicyclist is fighting for his life after crashing in Mira-Mesa, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The man suffered grave injuries when his bike struck the curb in the 10700 block of Camino Santa Fe shortly before 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to authorities. The impact threw the rider into the roadway.
Paramedics took him to a hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries, including a brain bleed, a broken collarbone and several fractured ribs, according to police.
