'Bloodied' Man Found Dead in SD, Possibly Victim of Arrow Attack
A man was found dead in a city park early Tuesday morning, prompting detectives to launch an investigation.
SAN DIEGO, CA — A man possibly felled by an arrow was found dead in a city park Tuesday.
Officers responded at 12:21 a.m. to a call at the Central Avenue Mini Park at 3642 Central Ave. and found the body of a man who was "all bloodied up," according to San Diego Police Department assistant watch commander S. Foster.
"He was lying there with an arrow next to him is all I can say," Foster told CNS, adding that homicide detectives are expected to provide more details at some point.

CBS8 reported from the scene that the dead man was found with an arrow in his head, and that he was killed after some sort of confrontation. Investigators told the station they suspect a bow-and-arrow or crossbow may have been used in the killing.
