Parent Education Workshop: 10 Rules for Raising Kids in a High-Tech World with Dr. Twenge

The Children's School is hosting a free community parent education workshop on Tuesday, January 13th at 5:30pm.
Today’s kids and teens are immersed in technology and are less independent. How has that impacted their mental health and development, and what can parents do about it?
Dr. Twenge will offer 10 rules for raising kids in a high-tech world, including introducing devices only when kids are ready, keeping devices from interfering with sleep, and helping kids explore real-world freedom. You’ll walk away from this session with ideas for how to help your family find a better balance with technology and be healthier and happier.
