SAN DIEGO, CA — Firefighters were battling a fire at an apartment building in San Diego Sunday.

Units were dispatched at around 12:20 p.m. Sunday to 1919 Georgia Court, near the intersection of Florida Street and University Avenue, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.

A total of 30 personnel were assigned to the fire, including four engines, two trucks and one medic, officials said.

No evacuations or injuries were immediately reported. Personnel from the Red Cross were also assigned.

The cause of the fire was unknown.
