Crews Halt Brush Fire Near U.S.-Mexico Border
The blaze, called the Border 10 Fire, sparked near the 26000 block of Campo Road in Potrero, according to Cal Fire.

SAN DIEGO, CA — Crews were working to extinguish a brush fire Monday near the U.S.-Mexico border.
The blaze, called the Border 10 Fire, sparked near the 26000 block of Campo Road in Potrero in southeastern San Diego County, according to Cal Fire. The fire was called "an immediate structure threat."
Firefighters stopped forward progress of the flames shortly before 1 p.m., Cal Fire said. As of 2:05 p.m., the fire has burned five acres and was 50% contained.
