Dia De Los Muertos Celebration Returning This Weekend To SeaWorld San Diego

SAN DIEGO, CA — The Dia De Los Muertos celebration will return this weekend to SeaWorld San Diego.

The weekend event, scheduled Nov. 1-3, will showcase the flavors and sounds of the holiday, which is widely observed in Mexico and in other places around the world, especially by people of Mexican heritage.

The celebration will feature Catrina statues and ofrendas, or offerings, of flowers and mementos honoring loved ones who have died.

Festive food will be available for purchase at the park, including freshly made tacos from the Taqueria, as well as Tostilocos, bacon-wrapped hot dogs and corn from Nachos and Tortas, plus cantaritos served in souvenir cups at the Underwater Cantina and Day of the Dead Bread. Micheladas and margaritas will also be available at the Michelada Bar.

SeaWorld has hosted a Dia De Los Muertos celebration since 2016. The event is included in park admission.
