SAN DIEGO, CA — We've rounded up the stories you may have missed over the weekend to prepare you for the week ahead.
But before we jump into Southern California's top stories, residents should expect a warming trend to continue this week, according to the National Weather Service.
"Very patchy fog near the coast this morning," NWS San Diego forecasters wrote Monday. "Warm and dry with periods of weak Santa Ana winds this week. The peak of the heat is expected to be Tuesday for coastal areas and Wednesday for inland areas."
