Fire Damages Bay Terraces Duplex

The American Red Cross was called in to help the residents of the duplex arrange for emergency shelter.

SAN DIEGO, CA — It took firefighters about 15 minutes Tuesday to subdue a blaze that damaged a duplex in a Bay Terraces-area neighborhood, authorities said.

The non-injury fire erupted at about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday in an attic space in the two-story residence in the 1200 block of Manzana Way, east of Briarwood Road and south of Paradise Valley Road, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.

The American Red Cross was called in to help the residents of the duplex arrange for emergency shelter.
