Firefighters Battle Apartment Building Fire In San Diego

There were 43 personnel assigned to the fire, including five engines, three trucks and one medic, officials said.

SAN DIEGO, CA — Crews battled a structure fire that broke out in a two-story apartment building in San Diego, but no injuries were reporter, authorities said Friday.

Units were dispatched at 10:55 p.m. Thursday to 4975 Del Monte Avenue near the intersection of Bacon Street, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
