Firefighters Battle Double Mobile Home Fire In San Diego County

There were no other structures threatened and no harm to the surrounding vegetation, fire officials said.

SAN DIEGO, CA — Firefighters knocked down a mobile home fire that broke out in a rural neighborhood of San Diego County Sunday.

Units were dispatched around 2:20 p.m. Sunday to the 600 block of Lucky Devil Trail in Shelter Valley, near the Great Southern Overland Stage Route, according to Cal Fire.

"Reports of explosions came into our call center, with two mobile homes fully engulfed. There were no injuries to the occupants or firefighters, but Red Cross has been requested for three adults and one child," Cal Fire PIO Captain Brent Pascua told City News Service.
