Firefighters Battle Vegetation Blaze On Highway In San Diego

Eight personnel and at least two engines were assigned to the fire, officials said.

SAN DIEGO, CA — Crews were working to put out a vegetation fire on a highway Thursday morning in San Diego, authorities said.

Units were dispatched at 4:50 a.m. Thursday and arrived a few minutes later to northbound Interstate 15, near the intersection of Adams Avenue, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.

Eight personnel and at least two engines were assigned to the fire, officials said.
