Firefighters Knock Down House Fire In San Diego
They knocked down the blaze 16 minutes later, with no reported injuries, according to SDFD.
SAN DIEGO, CA — San Diego firefighters Saturday quickly knocked down a blaze that started in a vacant, one-story house in the El Cerrito neighborhood.
San Diego Fire-Rescue Department crews were sent to 6031 Meade Ave. in response to the fire, first reported at 8:08 a.m.
They knocked down the blaze 16 minutes later, with no reported injuries, according to SDFD.

A damage estimate was unavailable, and the cause is under investigation, SDFD said.
Twenty-nine personnel, using four engines and one truck, assisted in putting out the fire, according to the SDFD incident page. The city of El Cajon also assisted SDFD.
