Firefighters Work Vehicle Rescue On Highway In San Diego

There were 27 personnel assigned to the rescue, including four medics, two engines and one truck, officials said.

SAN DIEGO, CA — Crews were working to rescue a vehicle on a stretch of highway in San Diego, authorities said Monday.

Units were dispatched at 11:40 p.m. Sunday to southbound Interstate 15 near Rancho Bernardo Road, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.

There were 27 personnel assigned to the rescue, including four medics, two engines and one truck, officials said.
