Firefighters Work Vehicle Rescue On San Diego Highway

A total of 29 personnel were assigned to the rescue, including two trucks, three engines and two medics, officials said.

SAN DIEGO, CA — Firefighters were working a vehicle rescue on a stretch of highway in San Diego Saturday.

Units were dispatched at around 2:50 a.m. Saturday and arrived a few minutes later to northbound Interstate 15, near the intersection of Friars Road, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.

A total of 29 personnel were assigned to the rescue, including two trucks, three engines and two medics, officials said.
