CHULA VISTA, CA — A gun-wielding man commandeered and stole a motorist's car Wednesday in a commercial district near Otay Valley Regional Park, authorities reported.
The armed carjacking in the 1600 block of Broadway in Chula Vista took place about 8 a.m. Wednesday, according to police.
After the thief pulled a handgun on the driver of the gray 2023 Nissan, she surrendered the vehicle to him and he got in and drove off, Lt. Frank Giaime said.
