THROUGH DEC. 31: Hotel Del Coronado Haunted Happenings Tours. Halloween is the ideal time to learn about mysterious 1892 death of The Del guest Kate Morgan.

OCT. 5-31: 'Scream Zone' Haunted Scaregrounds: Fairgrounds. This year includes the "Midway Madness," a Halloween-themed carnival.
