Heartland Fire & Rescue To Host Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser

This year's event will also include emergency preparedness training, including basic first aid, CPR and crime prevention.

LA MESA, CA — The Heartland Firefighters of La Mesa will host a pancake breakfast fundraiser next month.

Breakfast will include pancakes, eggs, sausage, coffee and orange juice, according to Heartland Fire & Rescue, which serves El Cajon, La Mesa and Lemon Grove. Tickets are $5 and will be available at the door the day of the fundraiser.

Funds raised at the 16th annual event will benefit the Heartland Fire Explorers Program, a youth program affiliated with the Boy Scouts of America that focuses on the basics of firefighting.

The event will take place from 8 a.m. to noon on June 8 at La Mesa Fire Station 11 at 8034 Allison Ave.
