Man Hit, Killed By Amtrak Train In San Diego
The passenger train was near an intersection in the Clairemont area, deputies said.
SAN DIEGO, CA — A passenger train fatally struck a pedestrian in Clairemont Monday.
The southbound Amtrak train hit the man near the intersection of Santa Fe Street and Balboa Avenue about 12:45 p.m., according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.
The pedestrian's name was withheld pending family notification, Sgt. Jason King said.
