Man Rescued At Bottom Of La Jolla Cove
First responders rescued the driver from the vehicle, which they found in the water at the bottom of the cliff.
LA JOLLA, CA — San Diego Fire-Rescue Department personnel rescued a man Tuesday evening after he drove over the side of a cliff near La Jolla Cove.
Rescuers were called at 8:08 p.m. Tuesday regarding a car driven off the road in the 1200 block of Coast Boulevard, Fox 5 San Diego reported.
First responders rescued the driver from the vehicle, which they found in the water at the bottom of the cliff.

According to Fox 5 San Diego, the man is believed to be in his 70s. It was not immediately known if he suffered any injuries.
Police and firefighters were expected to remain at the scene for several hours as they remove the vehicle from the water.
