Man Severely Injured In Alleged Shooting In Emerald Hills, Suspect Arrested
The victim was taken to a hospital, where he was treated for life-threatening injuries, police said.

SAN DIEGO, CA — A 42-year-old man was shot and severely injured by another man during a conflict in the neighborhood of Emerald Hills in San Diego, authorities said Thursday.
The shooting occurred at around 3 a.m. Wednesday when a 53-year-old man allegedly shot the man in the upper chest in the 600 block of Bollenbacher Street, near the intersection of Pitta and Market Streets, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The victim was taken to a hospital, where he was treated for life-threatening injuries, police said.

The suspect broke his knee and required surgery, they added. He was arrested at the scene. The names of those involved were not immediately released.
It was unclear what prompted the argument, but detectives with the department were investigating.
