Man Shot In Back In San Diego

The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for injuries not considered to be life-threatening, police said.

SAN DIEGO, CA — A 32-year-old man was found shot in the back in the El Cerrito neighborhood, the San Diego Police Department said Monday.

Officers responded to reports of gunfire 8:59 p.m. Sunday in the 6000 block of El Cajon Boulevard, where they found the man with a gunshot wound in his back, said SDPD Officer John Buttle.

The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for injuries not considered to be life-threatening, the officer said.
