Mild Weather Predicted For San Diego County

Sunny and mild weather was predicted for San Diego County Saturday with light winds and high pressure over the Southwest.

SAN DIEGO, CA — Sunny and mild weather was predicted for San Diego County Saturday with light winds and high pressure over the Southwest, the National Weather Service said.

High temperatures along the coast Saturday were predicted to be 69 to 73 degrees with overnight lows of 41 to 48. Western valley highs were expected to be around 76, and highs near the foothills predicted to be 70 to 75 with overnight lows of 38 to 44.

Highs in the mountains were expected to be 62 to 69 with overnight lows of 34 to 41, and highs in the deserts will be 77 to 82 with overnight lows of 45 to 53.

While it may be a little cooler west of the mountains Sunday, mountain highs could be about the same as Saturday, and the lower deserts were expected to be about five degrees warmer.

Monday was forecast to be warmer with lighter winds, forecasters said.

Tuesday through Friday was predicted to be dry with mild days and cool nights.

The county's next chance for precipitation was predicted to be next weekend, the NWS said.
