The Miramar Young Marines Present the Colors for Kiwanis Club
The Miramar Young Marines proudly presented the Colors for the Santee Kiwanis Club's Junior Olympic Track Meet held at Santana High School.

The Young Marines is a youth education and service program for boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 18. Recently, a group of Young Marines had the honor of performing a color guard ceremony for the Kiwanis of Santee Junior Olympics at Santana High School. The event drew a crowd of over 1000 students and parents.
During the ceremony, the Young Marines displayed the US flag, California flag, and Miramar Unit flag. YM GySgt Andrew Vuong carried the US flag with honor and respect, while YM Cpl Diego Davis held the California flag with pride. The Miramar Unit flag was carried by YM Cpl Roman Canez, who showed exceptional professionalism.
In addition to the flag bearers, two riflemen from the group, YM Cpl Tessa Leffew and Sgt Raul Castillo, stood tall and displayed great skill during the ceremony. Their discipline and precision added to the overall impressive display.
