Motorcyclist Killed In Crash Into Retaining Wall In San Diego

SDPD Traffic Division officers were investigating the collision.

SAN DIEGO, CA — A 28-year-old motorcyclist was killed in the Linda Vista neighborhood when he struck a retaining wall, the San Diego Police Department said Monday.

At 11:43 p.m. Sunday, the man was riding a 1998 Yamaha motorcycle northbound on 1800 Ulric Street, SDPD Officer John Buttle said.

He was traveling at a speed unsafe for conditions, the officer said, and he lost control of the motorcycle, striking a retaining wall, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
