Motorcyclist Killed In Head-On Crash With Truck On SR-67 In San Diego County
The 22-year-old man's name was withheld pending family notification.
POWAY, CA — A motorcyclist was killed over the weekend in a head-on crash with a Ford pickup truck hauling a boat on state Route 67, authorities said.
The crash happened at 11:45 a.m. Saturday at SR-67 and Ellie Lane in Poway, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Office.
Paramedics rendered aid, but the the motorcycle rider died at the scene, sheriff's Sgt. David Arnold Sr. said. The 22-year-old man's name was withheld pending family notification.

The Sheriff's Office and San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office were investigating the collision. It was not yet known if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash.
