SAN DIEGO, CA — We've rounded up the stories you may have missed over the weekend to prepare you for the week ahead.

But before we jump into Southern California's top stories, residents should expect warmer temperatures this week, according to the National Weather Service.

"There will be a warming trend through Wednesday with high temperatures warming to around average with the greatest warming, of around 10 degrees, for the inland valleys. This will be followed by minor day-to-day changes through next weekend," NWS San Diego forecasters wrote Monday. "Dry weather will continue with night and morning coastal low clouds spreading into portions of the western valleys late each night."

In other news, a body was found inside a burned recreational vehicle; two people were found dead in a suspected murder-suicide; multiple stores were looted during street takeovers; a teen crashed into two homes; and parents were arrested on suspicion of child abuse and drug trafficking.
