SAN DIEGO, CA — Some of San Diego's tiniest babies celebrated their first Christmas with a special photoshoot.
To get families and patients in the holiday spirit, nurses in the neonatal intensive care unit at Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego dressed some of the most fragile newborns into festive outfits. The holiday outfits were handmade by registered nurse Linda Black and some of the parents.
More than 40 preemies were part of the annual celebration put together by the medical teams, according to Rady Children's spokesperson Carlos Delgado.
