Over 1,200 Seasonal Workers Needed For San Diego County Fair

DEL MAR, CA — Hundreds of seasonal workers are needed for the San Diego County Fair.
The 22nd District Agricultural Association, which owns and operates the Del Mar Fairgrounds, is hiring more than 1,200 temporary workers to help produce the region's biggest and longest-running community event, which returns this summer to the fairgrounds.
A variety of jobs are available, including cashiers, customer care team players, gate attendants, traffic controllers, public safety associates, stagehands, and more.

"Each year, our goal is to build a team that helps San Diego to start the summer in the most fun and exciting way possible," said Carlene Moore, CEO of the 22nd District Agricultural Association. "We want people who want to work hard, have a lot of fun, and allow generations of San Diegans create cherished memories by providing unforgettable experiences in a festive atmosphere."
The 20-day fair will be open from June 11 through July 6 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. It will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Many jobs start prior to the beginning of the fair, and hiring has already started for some positions.
