Over 4,300 Stuffed Animals Donated During San Diego County Fair Toy Drive
The toys went to organizations assisting children in both the U.S. and Mexico.

SAN DIEGO, CA — Fairgoers donated more than 4,300 stuffed animals for children in need during the 2025 San Diego County Fair.
The toys were collected as part of the Care 'n Share Toy Drive, a project of the Torrey Pines Rotary Club in association with the San Diego County Fair.
Since its inception in 2009, the toy drive has collected 122,000 stuffed animals won as prizes and then donated by fairgoers. The toys have gone to organizations assisting children in both the U.S. and Mexico.

This year's donated toys were distributed as follows:
— 300 to Camp Stevens in Julian
— 317 to Chula Vista Eastlake Rotary Club projects
— 1,631 to Foundation for the Children of the Californias (Tijuana Children's Hospital)
— 120 to La Jolla Golden Triangle Rotary Club projects
— 20 to Like Our Own group homes
— 1,075 to San Diego Armed Services YMCA
— 836 to STEP - Support the Enlisted Project
— 50 to Voices for Children
