Pedestrian Injured In Hit-And-Run Crash In San Diego
A 59-year old woman suffered head and leg injuries, police said.
SAN DIEGO, CA — A 59-year old woman suffered head and leg injuries Sunday in an alleged hit-and-run accident in the Paradise neighborhood, the San Diego Police Department reported.
Just before 8:20 a.m. Sunday, the woman was walking north at 2700 Homedale St. when the vehicle "went up onto the sidewalk and struck her," police said.
The vehicle's driver fled the scene, the department added.

The victim suffered a fractured fibula and a subdural brain hemorrhage, but police said she was expected to survive her injuries.
