SAN DIEGO, CA — A pedestrian was killed Monday evening on state Route 94 in San Diego.

The body down in westbound lanes just east of the San Diego (5) Freeway transition was reported at P.M., according to the California Highway Patrol.

The witness said a blanket covered the body and that vehicles were colliding as they tried to dodge the body.
