1 Person, 2 Dogs Found Dead In Burned Residential Trailer In San Diego County

After firefighters extinguished the flames, deputies discovered the deceased person and apparent remains of two dogs.

RAMONA, CA — A person and two dogs were found dead inside a burned residential trailer over the weekend in San Diego County.

Cal Fire and deputies from the San Diego County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a fire Saturday in the 18000 block of Cinnamon Rock Road in the Ramona area, according to the sheriff's office. After firefighters extinguished the flames, deputies discovered the deceased person and apparent remains of two dogs.

Detectives from the sheriff's office's Bomb/Arson and Homicide units were investigating the case.

The victim had not yet been identified.

Anyone with information about the incident was asked to call the Homicide Unit at 858-285-6330 and 858-868-3200 during non-business hours. Tipsters who wish to remain anonymous were asked to call San Diego County Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.
