  1. Police are searching for a black sedan after a shooting near Petco Park. A young man was wounded in his left hip and arm after reports of a shooting. The man was taken to the hospital. His injuries are not considered life-threatening. Police reported a “older, black four-door sedan” was seen leaving the Padres’ tailgate parking lot, heading east on National Avenue.   2. According to the Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the U.S. is currently grappling with a massive labor shortage due to the pandemic. Millions of workers have retired, and mothers of school-aged children have resigned from the workforce. There are fewer working-age immigrants in the country.   3. Have a small business? Now there is good news! County Supervisors have approved more than $3 million in grants for microbusinesses.
