RAMON, CA — A brush fire that broke out Saturday in Ramona was fully contained after burning less than two acres, based on updated mapping, a Cal Fire spokesman said.
The fire was first reported at 2:34 p.m. Saturday near Orange Avenue and Pahls Way, east of Black Canyon Road, according to the department.
"There are still a couple of hot spots in the perimeter, so crews will remain on scene for a couple of hours just to make sure they're extinguished," Capt. Robert Johnson said.
