SD Weekend: Sesame Place Spooktacular (Kids Free); Corn Maze; FallFest

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — To keep your weekend fun and lively, Patch has rounded up some entertaining events going on throughout the San Diego region — from the southern border, to East County, through beach towns, to the uppermost points of North County and communities in between.

Some are free. Some have a fee.

Whether you opt for an activity close to home or a mini day trip, see what's slated this weekend from Saturday, Sept. 30 to Sunday, Oct. 1.

Among standout events: The Farm Stand Fall Festival in Escondido; Strawberry Fields pumpkin patch and corn maze in Carlsbad; and Sesame Place San Diego's "Halloween Spooktacular" — with a free kid's ticket with paid adult — in Chula Vista.
