- The SDUSD Board of Education meeting was held in chambers, along with Superintendent Lamont Jackson, and all members wore masks. Held both in person, and with virtual options offered, the discussion included comments from about 20 parents opposed to the vaccine mandate. After discussions, the Board of Education members at the San Diego Unified School District voted unanimously to keep the current COVID-19 vaccination requirement in place for the 2022-2023 school year. - You see them out on the corners of the major intersections. They are the local firefighters working to raise funds for the Burn Institute. They will be out there with The Boot on March 10 throughout the County. The Burn Institute provides support programs as well as financial assistance to burn victims.
