Serial Burglar Targets 2 More Restaurants In San Diego's Tierrasanta Neighborhood
The suspect used a sledgehammer to burglarize Dairy Queen and Sangucheria Peruvian Street Food Monday in Tierrasanta, police said.

SAN DIEGO, CA — Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man involved in a series of restaurant burglaries in San Diego's Tierrasanta neighborhood.
The latest burglaries happened around 3 a.m. Monday at a Dairy Queen and at Sangucheria Peruvian Street Food, both located at 5950 Santo Road, according to the San Diego Police Department.
"The subject used a sledgehammer in the commission of the crime and the loss is a couple hundred dollars from each business and one small safe," Detective Sgt. Brian French said.

The suspect is believed to have burglarized three other Tierrasanta restaurants in recent weeks: Tierrasanta Mexican Food on Nov. 4 and Round Table Pizza and Tutuli Mexican Eatery on Nov. 19.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect, who appears to be 20 to 35 years old, police said. He was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt Monday at Sangucheria Peruvian Street Food.
