Sesame Place San Diego To Celebrate Hanukkah And Kwanzaa
The Chula Vista-based theme park will recognize both holidays from Thursday, Dec. 26 through Tuesday, Dec. 31.
SAN DIEGO, CA — Celebrate Hanukkah and Kwanzaa at Sesame Place San Diego this holiday season.
The Chula Vista-based theme park will recognize both holidays from Thursday, Dec. 26 through Tuesday, Dec. 31. The park will feature a variety of festive activities, including games, interactive entertainment, special holiday traditions and storytimes.
The Hanukkah celebration will include a Menorah candle lighting ceremony, dreidel with Elmo, a holiday dance party, and Hanukkah scavenger hunt and storytime. The Kwanzaa celebration will include a Kinara lighting ceremony, a holiday dance party and Kwanzaa storytime.

Sesame Place San Diego is the only theme park on the West Coast based on the award-winning children's show, "Sesame Street." The park features 18 Sesame Street-themed rides and water attractions, an interactive Sesame Street Neighborhood complete with the iconic 123 Stoop, live character shows, parade and photo opportunities with characters from the long-running show. Water attractions have closed for the season.
Sesame Place San Diego is located at 2052 Entertainment Circle in Chula Vista.
