SAN DIEGO, CA — A fight between two men in a neighborhood near City Heights Park escalated Thursday into a stabbing that left one of them critically wounded and the other under arrest.
The fracas erupted about 9 a.m. when Perronnette Fedner, 34, approached a 41-year-old man who was sitting in a van in a parking lot in the 3800 block of Fairmount Avenue in Teralta West, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The encounter rapidly turned into a scuffle during which Fedner allegedly stabbed the other man repeatedly, SDPD Officer David O'Brien said. Fedner then fled, and the victim gave chase, despite the severity of his injuries.
