Vehicle Crashes Into Garage Of House In SD
A vehicle crashed through the wall of a garage at a single-story house Sunday but there were no immediate reports of injuries.
RANCHO BERNARDO, CA — A vehicle crashed through the wall of a garage at a single-story house Sunday but there were no immediate reports of injuries.
The homeowner was inside the residence in the 15600 block of Caminito La Torre at 9:20 a.m. Sunday when a vehicle slammed into a wall of the garage, said Battalion Chief David Pilkerton of the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
The crash impacted a bedroom and knocked over a water heater, causing a gas leak, Pilkerton said.

San Diego Gas & Electric crews stopped the leak and a city building inspector and a structural engineer were on the scene to determine whether the residence was safe for the homeowner to enter, the battalion chief said.
The homeowner's family was taking care of the resident until he was allowed to go back home.
