Warm Weather Forecast For San Diego County

SAN DIEGO, CA — Santa Ana conditions were predicted to bring warm weather west of the San Diego County mountains Sunday along with gusty northeast winds in the mountains and passes, the National Weather Service said.

Winds were forecast to peak Sunday afternoon with gusts of 45-55 mph, then slowly weaken, the NWS said.

High temperatures along the coast were predicted to be 77-85 degrees with overnight lows of 50-58 on Sunday. Western valley highs will be 83-88, 74- 79 near the foothills with overnight lows of 52-62, the National Weather Service said. Mountain highs were expected to be 64-71 with overnight lows of 43-53. Highs in the deserts will be 79-84 with overnight lows of 51-60.

A trough was expected to bring cooler weather and a chance for a few light showers Tuesday, forecasters said.
