A concerned citizen recorded a disturbing video of the incident in an apartment complex parking lot in Spring Valley, officials said.
SAN DIEGO, CA — A San Diego County woman could face animal abuse charges after a video surfaced that showed her apparently striking a dog with a wooden plank, and covering the animal in a container while being kicked, officials said.
A concerned citizen recorded a video of the incident on July 21 in an apartment complex parking lot in Spring Valley, according to San Diego County officials. The suspect, who was reportedly living out of her vehicle at the time, was seen striking the Chihuahua.
Officers with County Animal Services found the unidentified suspect along with the small dog on Sunday. She agreed to speak with officers, officials said.
