SAN FRANCISCO, CA — As we head into the new week, we've rounded up the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.

But before we jump into Northern California's top stories, residents should expect dry weather to continue for the week with a gradual warm-up.

"Another round of fog this morning in the valleys across the Bay Area," NWS San Francisco forecasters wrote Monday. "Fairly consistent weather pattern continues this week. Next chance of rain around the 15th."

In other news, a social worker was killed in a stabbing attack at a hospital; a 14-year-old was fatally shot near a high school; one person was killed and three others were wounded in a shooting; and a woman confessed to killing her newborn son.
