Police Arrest Suspect In Deadly San Francisco Burglary
The killing happened on Sunday in the 200 block of Granada Avenue, police said.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A 45-year-old has been arrested in connection with a deadly home burglary in San Francisco on Sunday afternoon, police said.
Cassidy Wyatt Allen was taken into custody Monday on suspicion of murder and burglary, the San Francisco Police Department said.
Allen is accused of killing someone during a burglary at a residence on the west side of the city. Details about the burglary and what led up to the killing were not available.

Police say a burglary was reported just after 3 p.m. at a home in the 200 block of Granada Avenue, the San Francisco Police Department said.
When officers arrived at the home, they found an injured adult and administered CPR to them, police said. Despite those efforts, the person died at the scene, police said.

Homicide detectives also responded to the home and are leading the investigation, police said.
Allen was located in the area of 19th Avenue and Sloat Boulevard after officers responded to the area for a well-being check, police said. There, the officers noticed that Allen matched the description of a "person of interest" in connection with the burglary and killing, police said.
